Billing, Refunds and Cancellation Policy
Billing, Refunds and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This policy explains exactly what you will be charged, when, by whom, and how to stop it. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Where this policy and the Terms overlap, they are intended to say the same thing.
1. Who bills you
The Website is operated by the company identified in section 1 of our Terms and Conditions and in the imprint:
Card payments are processed by our authorised billing partner, Verotel / CardBilling. Verotel / CardBilling is the name that appears on your credit-card or bank statement. If you see a charge you do not recognise, that is the descriptor to look for. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NowPayments. We do not see or store your full card number.
2. Currency and taxes
All prices are shown in euro (EUR, €) and include any applicable taxes. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate or a foreign-transaction fee if your account is held in another currency; that charge comes from them, not from us.
3. What you can be charged for
3.1 Credit packs — one-off
A credit pack is a single, non-recurring charge for the amount shown on the top-up screen. It is taken once, at the moment you confirm the purchase. Credit does not expire and buying credit never sets up a recurring payment. Bonus credit included in a pack is promotional, cannot be withdrawn as cash and can only be spent on the Website.
3.2 Subscriptions — recurring
A subscription to a creator is a recurring agreement:
- The first charge is taken immediately when you subscribe.
- Unless you cancel, the same amount is charged again automatically at the end of every billing period, and continues to recur until you cancel.
- Monthly subscriptions recur every month on the same calendar day. Quarterly, semi-annual and annual subscriptions recur every 3, 6 and 12 months respectively.
- The amount, the length of the billing period and the date of the next charge are all shown before you confirm, and at any time afterwards under Settings → Subscriptions.
- If a creator changes their price, the new price applies from your next renewal onwards, never to a period you have already paid for, and you are notified before it takes effect.
3.3 Pay-per-view unlocks, tips and paid messages — one-off
Each of these is a single charge of the amount displayed at the moment of purchase. They never recur.
4. Trials, introductory offers and promotions
Where a free trial, a discounted introductory period or any other promotional price is offered, the following are displayed on the subscription screen before you confirm: the length of the trial or promotional period, the price during that period, the standard price that applies once it ends, and the date of the first standard charge.
Unless you cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, the subscription continues automatically at the standard price and the first standard charge is taken on the first billing date after the period ends, and at each billing period after that. If no trial or promotional period is displayed, none applies and the standard price is charged from the outset.
5. How to cancel
You can cancel any recurring payment at any time. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
- On the Website (fastest): Settings → Subscriptions → open the subscription → Cancel. The cancellation takes effect immediately and no further charge is taken.
- By email: write to support@zumido.com from the email address on your account, or use the contact form. We will action the cancellation and confirm it to you in writing.
- Through our billing partner: Verotel / CardBilling can also cancel a subscription for you — www.vtsup.com or livesupport@verotel.com.
Cancelling stops all future charges. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for: your access continues to the end of that period, and then simply stops.
6. Refunds
We refund in full where:
- you were charged in error, or charged twice;
- a charge was made without your authorisation;
- a technical fault on our side prevented you from receiving what you paid for;
- content you paid to access was removed by us before you were able to access it;
- a creator failed to deliver a specific paid deliverable within the stated timeframe;
- a refund is required by the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
Otherwise: credit, pay-per-view unlocks, tips and paid messages give immediate access to digital content, and are final once that content has been accessed. Subscriptions are not refunded pro rata for a billing period that has already begun — but cancelling stops every future charge.
How to request one: email support@zumido.com or use the contact form, quoting the date and the amount of the charge and, if you have it, the transaction reference. We acknowledge the request within 24 hours and decide it within 5 days. Approved refunds go back to the payment method you originally used, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Before you contact your bank
If a charge looks wrong, please come to us or to Verotel / CardBilling first. We can nearly always identify the charge and, where a refund is due, make it faster than a card dispute would. Raising a dispute with your bank on a charge that was in fact authorised may result in your account being suspended.
8. Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails, we retry it a limited number of times over a short period and email you each time. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled automatically and no further attempts are made.
9. Billing support
For anything about your account, a purchase or a refund: support@zumido.com or the contact form.
For any questions regarding credit card or bank statements, transactions, fraud, unrecognized charges, etc., please contact:
